History

In 1957, the doors to our Dance Academy opened for children pre-K through 12th grade. Our annual recital theme is "Children Dancing for Children."  All proceeds are given to child-centric organizations in the community.

 

Studio hours and Cost of Classes

• The studio offers classes 6 days a week. 

• Classes run from September through late April. 

• There is a $20 non-refundable registration fee. 

• The yearly cost of dance classes is $165.00 per class.

We have student demonstrators and volunteers who assist our teachers throughout the year.

Kinder Dance - 3 & 4 year olds - "gymboree" style

Ballet - offered for students Pre-K through 12th grade

Tap - Kindergarten through 12th grade

Jazz - 3rd through 12th grade

Lyrical - 4th through 12th grade

Pointe - 7th through 12th grade - Teacher Authorized

Mini Hip Hop - 1st through 5th grade

Hip Hop - 6th through 12th grade

Mini Acro - 1st through 3rd grade

Acro - 4th through 12th grade

Musical Theater - 1st through 12th grade

Competition Team - 1st through 12th grade

Registration: Children are placed in classes based on skill and the discretion of the teachers.  The Dance Academy Registration form is available under the Forms drop down from the main menu (above), or click here to open the form directly.

NOTE: Dress Rehersal Tickets:

Tickets (2 per family) will be distributed at ticket sales for admittance to the Dress Rehersal on Friday, May 9th.  You may take pictures and video recordings at this rehersal.  No photography, video or cellphone recordings are allowed at the Recital itself.
