I'm happy to announce that as of
January 22, 2024, we have completed
our NexTrex Recycling Challenge with
1,015 pounds of plastic collected by The
AHCL!!
Here is our Trex Bench next to our
Pollinator Garden which is next to the
Community Gardens and the Hillside
Community Center. Soon it will be
surrounded by flowers.

Adopt a Highway October 12 Gerri Carey, Maria Fanning,
Mary Ellen Durkin, Eileen Milunic and Liana Smith pick up trash along
Grove Street – the Abington Heights Civic League’s adopted highway
since 1991.
Boscovs Eileen and Jan Eileen Milunic and Jan Klusza manned a table at the Boscov’s
Friends Helping Friends event on October 22, 2024. We made
over $175 in donations that day.
